New--Future Sports Start Dates Announced by the Archdiocese
In helping our parents and athletes plan for family vacations and events around our athletic schedules, the Archdiocese has now standardized the start dates for all sports based upon when Labor Day falls each year. Please see the attachment here for the 2016-17 start dates (Note Labor Day is September 5, 2016). We offer Volleyball in the fall, Basketball in the winter, and Track in the spring.
Milw Arch Standardized Sports Seasons (Feb 2016).pdf
Waukesha Catholic sponsors three sports - volleyball, basketball and track - for boys and girls in grades five through eight. Teams are separated by grade and gender.
In the fall, Waukesha Catholic teams participate in the Metro Volleyball Conference. Over the winter, Waukesha Catholic teams participate in the Notre Dame/Don Bosco Basketball Conference. In the spring, Waukesha Catholic Track teams participate in the Waukesha Area Catholic Conference.
The Waukesha Catholic Athletic Handbook contains valuable information that will inform you about the workings of the program. It is important that parents, coaches and athletes read and understand the contents of this handbook.
Athletic Board Members
The Waukesha Catholic Athletic Association has 11 elected Athletic Board members who are elected in May and begin 2-year terms in July each year ( 5 members in 2018, 6 members in 2019). Athletic Board members must be parents or guardians of a current Waukesha Catholic student.
Athletic Board members attend monthly meetings, assist in the operation of the athletic program, and supervise competitions hosted by Waukesha Catholic, among other duties. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a board member, please contact Bill Serb, Athletic Board President, at email@example.com.
Waukesha Catholic Athletics are administered by an Athletic Board elected by parents of the participating student athletes. Jeremy Greasby is the Waukesha Catholic Athletic Director.
